We've just returned from an amazing safari tour by the fabulous Manjula. Wow! Our expectations were well exceeded - Manjula was knowledgeable and passionate regarding the elephants and other wildlife plus is a very competent and safe jeep.
Manjula is friendly, careful in his driving and alert to taking other routes to stay free from too many jeeps crowding around to see one group of elephants. Manjula is also an avid birdwatcher and has all kinds of good information if you take the time to ask. I really enjoyed our afternoon safari - we got to see elephants in several different locations - but do be prepared for a rocky ride - the roads aren't meant to make things easy! I think we saw nearly a hundred elephants during our three hours - 4:30 to 5:30 seemed to be a prime time (in late February). Manjula is a beautiful man - you won't regret following his lead.
