What an amazing experience for the family! We returned on short holiday to Sri Lanka after 14 and half years. Kalu the owner of SMP took us out around 2pm. What an adventure. We got so close to the elephants and we saw a baby elephant drinking milk from its mum. We saw deer, wild fox's, wild Jackels, birds, Monkey's and a Crock! There was a peacock dancing in full display, a face to face moment with a single tusk male elephant and many more pods of families enjoying the evening grass. All in all we saw 64 elephants during this evening with SMP. Kalu was calm and made us feel safe and one with nature. Thank you Kalu from SMP for an experience of a lifetime and for the magical moments we witnessed. I would highly recommend using SMP Minneriya if you want have a similar adventure.
